“When the black turns blue”

-  Daniel Owl  -
Before the whispers, there was only the cold weight of the night. A slow transition where the deepest black surrenders to the first blue.
In the silence of the pier, the ships are waiting. I wonder whose hands turned that worn valve, or who untied the knots that bind them to the shore. Every rusted hull holds the echo of unseen lives—anonymous stories that awaken just as the night decides to turn into blue.

Amidst the towering snow-capped mountains and the frozen breath of the harbour, a lone figure walks. He is heading home, guided by the soft glow of Christmas lights—a small spark of warmth in the vast, blue silence of an Icelandic morning.
