Something I've loved for years is finding places that make you feel small.
Iceland has no shortage of them. But walking the ridges of Landmannalaugar — with all that contrast of colour spread out below, smoke rising quietly from the earth, lava textures and snow still unmelted on the peaks — this is something else entirely. Less like a landscape, more like another planet.
