After a year living here, it still fascinates me.
How lava cools and hardens into shapes this sharp, this precise — and then, slowly, life finds a way back in. Moss first, then flowers, pushing through the rock. In less than six kilometres, Landmannalaugar holds more textures, colours and forms than most places manage in a lifetime. You have to see it in person to believe it.
